THE TALE OF SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON

Once there was a dragon, that hold a princess prisoner in its cave. A knight came, and his name was George. He was brave and strong and rescued the princess by killing the dragon. From the blood of the dragon a red rose bloomed, which he offered the princess before leaving for new adventures.

THE POWER OF IMAGINATION

I really enjoy the celebrations of Sant Jordi in Catalunya. On this particular day, the 23th of April, people present friends, relatives and lovers with books and red roses. I love books and I am always very excited when that day comes!

But I love dragons too. I have read so many tales of dragons and I don’t think they are bad. At least, not all of them!

From my love for books and dragons this illustration was born, in which the princess is a little girl, her hair red like a rose, who is friend with the dragon instead of being afraid of it.

Together they read a fairy tales book, a book about knights, princesses and dragons… and the magic goes on.
